Conference „Energy in the hands of municipalities“

The conference is organized by the Association of Energy Managers of Towns and Municipalities (SEMMO) and the National Network of Healthy Cities of the Czech Republic (NSZM) in cooperation with the European Cities and Communities Association for Energy Cities and the City of Litoměřice. The expert conference and workshop is aimed in particular at representatives of cities, municipalities, regions and their partners who are interested in promoting innovative practices in the field of energy savings, the use of renewable resources and sustainable transport at the municipal level. The event aims to:

• bring practical and proven best practices in the thematic areas mentioned, both from home and abroad;
• discuss legal aspects of energy self-sufficiency and own energy and water resources;
• show the benefits of system planning and the effective implementation of energy and transport measures;
• inform about current possibilities of financing energy saving projects, the use of renewables and sustainable transport from both domestic and European programs;
• introduce cooperation possibilities between municipalities and professional partners with the Association of Energy Managers of Towns and Municipalities and the National Network of Healthy Cities of the Czech Republic
